“Fama_Fame”, Künstlerhaus and city of Solothurn, 11.7. – 27.7.2008
„Fama Fame“ (Fame_Hunger) is an exhibition serie which started 2006 at la fabbrica in Losone (CH).
The initiators are the artists Giancarlo Norese, Daniele Pario Perra and Roberto Deluca. The exhibition
aims to be shown in different cities. On 11 july the group exhibition has started with works of
Gian Paolo Minelli, Jérôme Leuba, Anaïs Gumy and Patrizio Travagli at the Künstlerhaus and in
public spaces of the city Solothurn. Text next exhibition cities will be

Triennal of sculpture Bex, Bex (CH)
Gian Paolo Minelli is showing from 8.7. – 24.8.2008 at the Museo de Zapopan in
and from 1.6. – 28.9.2008 at the Bex sculpture triennial.

Gallery Artist Gian Paolo Minelli wins at prestigious swiss art awards 2008. The Swiss Art Award Award
Show can be seen from 3. - 8.6.2008 just next to the Art Basel Fair at Hall 3.2.

GIAN PAOLO MINELLI
Gian Paolo Minelli was selected with his film “Zona Sur” for the international Filmfestival “Vision du Réel”
in Nyon. “Vision du Réel” is the most important documentary filmfestival worldwide and takes place from
17.4. – 23.4.2008 in Nyon.
Minelli was also selected for the Swiss Art Awards 2008. The Swiss Art Awards will take place during
Art Basel: 2.6. – 8.6.2008.
The gallery MADONNA#FUST will show works of Gian Paolo Minelli at Art Cologne from 14.4. – 20.4.2008.

GIAN PAOLO MINELLI
Gian Paolo Minelli will expose together with 28 other swiss contemporary artists at "Centro de la Imagen"
in Mexico-City. The exhibition has the title “PHOTOsuisse” and will run from 27.3.08 – 1.6.2008. Some
other artist who also take part: Balthasar Burkhard, Olaf Breuning, Urs Lüthi, Annelies Strba and
Beat Streuli. He will also give a Workshop at the Centro de la Imagen.
Minelli was also selected for the art award “Premio Federico Jorge Klemm”.

Gallery artist Gian Paolo Minelli is having an exhibition at the Museo Arte y Memoria La Plata in
Buenos Aires. Sebastian Díaz Moralez, Thomás Saraceno and Norberto Goméz are just some of the many
well-known international artists who also participate in this exhibition.

Fotología5 -Bogotá International Fotofestival
Fotología is one of the most important contemporary festivals about Photography in South America.
This festival takes place every two years in different museums and public spaces in the city of Bogotá.
Works of the Gallery artist Gian Paolo Minelli can be seen in two of this places. At the "Galeria El Museo"
in a group exhibition with Marcos Lopéz (Argentinean) and Juan Pablo Echeverri (Colombia) and at the
"Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca", with a photo-Installation at an 80 meter long wall.

Attitudes - espace d'art contemporains in Geneva has published a book about the exhibition of
Gian Paolo Minelli (24.05. - 08.07.2006). This exhibition shows the work of Gian Paolo Minelli at the
quarter of Piedra Bueno in Buenos Aires between 2001 – 2006. The book is available at Attitudes in
Geneva and at the gallery MADONNA#FUST.
