CAN Summer lab 2008
Jérôme Leuba was chosen with ten other artist for the video show “Actual Fears” at the
other artists: Katja Bassani, Donatella Bernardi, Collectif Fact and Christoph Draeger. He will also give
workshops at the CAN Summer lab.

“Fama_Fame”, Künstlerhaus and city of Solothurn, 11.7. – 27.7.2008
„Fama Fame“ (Fame_Hunger) is an exhibition serie which started 2006 at la fabbrica in Losone (CH).
The initiators are the artists Giancarlo Norese, Daniele Pario Perra and Roberto Deluca. The exhibition
aims to be shown in different cities. On 11 july the group exhibition has started with works of
Jérôme Leuba, Anaïs Gumy, Gian Paolo Minelli and Patrizio Travagli at the Künstlerhaus and in
public spaces of the city Solothurn. Text next exhibition cities will be

Shifting Identities, Kunsthaus Zürich, 6.6. – 31.8.2008
From 14 March until 8 June (Intro) and from 6 June until 31 August 2008 the Kunsthaus Zurich will be featuring
contemporary Swiss and internationl art. The show, in two parts, will be spread over the Kunsthaus,
Zurich Airport and the centre of Zurich. The recent paintings, videos, sculptures, drawings, performances and
sound installations are all concerned with issues of identity.
Gallery artist Jérôme Leuba has been invited to the exhibition. Other participating artists: Emanuelle Antille,
Mircea Cantor, Phil Collins, Gianni Motti, Shahryar Nashat, Adrian Paci, Elodie Pong, Shirana Shabazi,
Andro Wekua.

The exhibition space Klingental starts the year with „Blank Light“, a collaboration between the artists
Jérôme Leuba and Basim Magdy. Both artists analyse collective reflexes in our perception of reality that
are triggered by images conveyed by the media. This exhibition, which is conceived by Nadja Solari, is
definitely something to look forward to!

Manor Art Award 2007
Solo exhibition at Mamco, 6 Jun
Swiss Art Awards 2007, 11 June - 17 June Exhibition Square Basel
Gallery artist Jérôme Leuba won two important prizes this year: The Manor Art Award 2007 – which
involves prize money, an exhibition at Mamco, a publication and the acquisition of one of his works by
the Mamco collection – and the Swiss Art Award 2007 with his video “Unlimited”.
The Manor Art Award was established 25 years ago. It is awarded to young and upcoming artists and
has launched the international breakthrough for many of them. Among them are Pipilotti Rist,
Yves Netzhammer, Mario Sala, Andro Wekua, Rémy Markowitsch, Carmen Perrin and many more.
Jérôme Leuba will have a solo exhibition at the Gallery MADONNA#FUST in October 2007.
